Meet Silas Liechty, the efficient and detail-oriented Operations Manager at Nutwood Winery, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and flawless execution of day-to-day activities. With a keen eye for logistics and a passion for maintaining the highest standards, Silas is dedicated to creating an environment where both the winemaking process and visitor experiences operate seamlessly. 

As an Honors Graduate from Terry Business College at University of Georgia, Silas’s commitment to excellence is reflected in every facet of Nutwood Winery’s operations, making each visit an unforgettable journey into the heart of fine winemaking.

Meet Jonathan Carr, our dynamic General Manager of Nutwood Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar. With a degree in Business Administration from the University of Charleston, Jonathan brings a wealth of expertise to the culinary scene. Known for his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to delivering unparalleled dining experiences, he ensures that every visit to Nutwood Winery is marked by excellence, innovation, and impeccable service.

Prior to joining us, Jonathan served in the U.S Army as a First Lieutenant Infantry Officer and Ranger, Airborne Qualified, and he continues to serve our country through the Army Reserves.

With a 30+ year background rooted in classical culinary training from South Beach to Hollywood along with a flair for incorporating Asian and Italian flavors with Southern favorites, Chef Trussell crafts dishes that seamlessly marry tradition with contemporary twists.

At the helm of Nutwood Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar, he invites diners on an unforgettable experience where each wine-forward menu item is designed to pair perfectly with Nutwood wines.

Meet Sous Chef Jeromy Doutt, a passionate and skilled culinary artist with over 15 years of experience  specializing in American cuisine. Originally from the Midwest, he relocated to the South to experiment with regional specialties and re-imagine classic comfort foods.

Jeromy plays a crucial role in the kitchen, working closely with the head chef to design and execute menus that showcase the diverse and flavorful tapestry of American cuisine. He also brings positive energy and a sense of family to the culinary team, ensuring that the entire kitchen brigade works seamlessly together.

Meet Jolene, the official & much-beloved mascot of Nutwood Winery. Jolene is a Great Pyrenees known for her exceptional ground-patrol and hospitality skills. She can be found most days lounging under the pecan trees or greeting guests at the Tasting Room & Vineyard Cafe.
